What the exhibitors said about the 2018 show

“Sign & Digital UK has been an incredible show for us this year. This is our second year and our stand was almost twice the size. We’ve met a lot of new companies who we hope to turn into new business when we get back into the office, and have already booked our stand for 2018.”

Andrew Burdett, Managing Director and Founder, Very Displays

"It's our first year at Sign & Digital UK and we've really enjoyed it. We've made some great contacts and met some new and existing clients. We're the only stand at the show that exhibit on the waste management front so it's been a great bonus for us in making contact with new companies. We're already looking forward to coming back next year!"

Tim King, Area Sales Manager, QCR Recycling Equipment

"Over the three years we've been exhibiting at SDUK, we've seen a real growth in customers and sales. For us, it feels like once you're on the merry-go-round of attending SDUK, it's best to stay on it for the business to grow and develop. It's definitely been a successful year for YPP and we'll hopefully be back next year."

John Thomas, Business Development Manager, Your Print Partner

"This is YPS's 5th year exhibiting at Sign & Digital UK. The show has always been exciting and inspiring, and this year has been no different. It’s great to see how the industry and technology grows each year. Planning for SDUK 2019 has already begun!"

Georgia Brown, Sales Director, Your Print Specialists

"As ever, Sign & Digital 2018 has been a great opportunity for Hybrid Services to showcase the vast portfolio of Mimaki products as well as introduce new products to the UK Graphics industry. This year the Hybrid stand provided a great platform for meeting customers both old and new - and to work alongside colleagues in the wider industry."

John de la Roche, National Sales Manager, Hybrid Services

"Sign & Digital UK has been a really good show for us. We've had a real steady influx of customers this year - both existing customers and potential new customers. This year we're not attending any other shows but we really wanted to come back to Sign & Digital UK as we think it's the main sign show of the year. Of course, we'll be back next year."

Michael Ingram, Sales Director, Dorotape

"Sign & Digital UK is a great platform to launch new machines, and meet existing and new customers. More than anything, the show gives us a chance to see customers that we don't have the chance to throughout the rest of the year"

Andy Spreag, Director, I-Sub

"It's been a good show for us. We've been showing three machines on our stand and had a lot of traffic and good quality leads from the show. We upsized our stand from last year and it's been a good move. We're very much looking forward to next year!"

Ian Guest, Sales and Marketing, Zund Plotting Systems (UK) Ltd

"This is our first year exhibiting at Sign & Digital UK and it’s been fantastic. We’ve had a lot of positive and interesting conversations with the right people. We’ve also been listening to business leaders on the main stage which has given us some great ideas on how to tailor our service for the industry. We hope to be back next year!"

Dan Couchman, Managing Director, Forty4Three

"Trotec laser has been exhibiting at the Sign & Digital UK show for many years now, and we find it's one of the best in terms of quality of leads. It's certainley a great place to touch base with new and existing customers."

Bryan Jater, Senior Brand Manager, Trotec Laser Ltd

"We've found that there have been lots more designers and creatives attending the Sign & Digital UK show this year, which is great. Why do we keep coming back? Because for us we still feel like it's the number one printing and signage show and it's a great way of increasing brand awareness."

Melanie Enser, Marketing Manager, Colourgen

"Signmaster Systems has been exhibiting at Sign & Digital UK for nearly 20 years now, and we're never in doubt about coming back to the show. The clientele, footfall and the number of leads we come away with always make it a reliable show - people definitely come willing to buy which is great, and makes it worthwhile attending"

Lucy Ratcliffe, Director,  Signmaster Systems Ltd.

"ESKO has had a presence at Sign & Digital UK for a very long time. This is the first year we have shared a stand, with CMYUK, and it's worked well working as one team. We have received leads from repeat customers as well as new prospects. We've had really good interaction with visitors as they've been very responsive to our new software, Automation Engine QuickStart for Sign, turnkey solution that helps to pre-press designs - it's given us very strong leads for the show. We can't wait to come back next year."

Damien Minne, Sales Lead Co-ordinator, ESKO

"We've been exhibiting at Sign & Digital UK for the last 20 years, and it's always a great opportunity to see both our UK-based and international customers. Every year it's a great way to meet new people, from signmakers to cutters, and we've found that people definitely like to buy a British product direct from the manufacturer (our products are from Tamworth). This year, we've run out of catalogues and they've gone to the people who matter - genuine people with genuine issues to solve. We've had the decision makers or end users of the products come to our stand to enquire about our consumables. We've already re-booked to attend the show for 2019!"

Sally Hunt, Technical Sales Manager, ITC Ltd

"For the last few years CADLink has been running a Signlab software theatre, so we were just concentrating on one product and seminars with the customers. But then we realised we might be missing a trick as we have so many other products - now it feels like we've got the message out there at the show and opened up our products to the signage, t-shirt printing and engraving markets. We've met lots of re-sellers, contractor and manufacturers as well as end-users. It feels like we made the right decision to showcase all of our products in addition to the software training"

Jennifer Blacow, Marketing, CADlink Technology Corporation

“We found the show to be very positive for us. Our general sense was that numbers of visitors were lower but we found the calibre of enquiries far higher than usual. We have made a significant number of sales from stand this year and also had an extremely positive response to our HEM-It tape.

I must say all in all I am feeling very positive post show.”
