The Velvet Principle

Sean is the Creative Director for the specialist wayfinding, sign design and experiential graphics design consultancy The Velvet Principle. An information design graduate, over the past twenty years he has delivered the destination branding and wayfinding for high profile retail, leisure and commercial developments worldwide. Including recently Trinity Leeds shopping Centre, One New Change (London), 20 Fenchurch St (London), Ganjlik Mall (Azerbaijan). He is currently working on the wayfinding for The Lexicon Bracknell and The Waterfront, a mixed-use development in Oman.

Before forming The Velvet Principle, Sean was the Operations Director and creative lead for the destination team within the shopper marketing division of Saatchi & Saatchi. Prior to this he worked for the retail consultancy Anderson Design and Marketing and architectural practices The Design Research Unit and Leslie Jones.
