Navigation from place to place is an integral part of everyday life, replying on the relationship between the built environment and the directional information available. What we see, why we see it and what we do with this information will influence our experiences. This seminar will explore signage design and how wayfinding works in practice, through the use of case studies it will explore how signage design and typography can create a clear and concise wayfinding structure.
