Sign & Digital time of year means renewed focus at Clarity Software. We kick off our next financial year’s objectives and look forward to spending quality time with our customers at the NEC show. Here we share insightful conversations in an optimised sign and print environment where everyone is tuned in to the market. It’s formal and informal rolled into one.
The benefits of SDUK are enormous, both for us and our customers. It’s a win:win scenario and one of the most important customer dates in our calendar.
We have the chance to take notes of all the priceless feedback from their time using Clarity and they get to hear of our road map for development and how we are advancing our customer service to make their experience even better.
Clarity Professional, our flagship management information system, has evolved over the last 13 years into the UK’s most widely used MIS for sign and digital print. There’s no doubt that our relationships with customers and their involvement in our developments has had a major contribution to the product’s success.
When we talk with customers, we learn what’s important to their individual role in the business. What they need to know and do. Which of their processes need simplifying and how much of a priority they are when placed alongside tasks and actions from other departments in the business. We see the big picture.
New feature requests are considered and documented carefully by our team, weighing up the technical and commercial impact they could have on all our users.
We apply our expertise in system design to plan and carry out new workflows in a test environment, uncovering pros and cons from the new feature and ensuring there are no dead ends for future scalability. On successful assessment, we make a decision to include it in our product road map and get the coding underway.
Sign & Digital usually means either an exciting new release of our software or a new product which we can exclusively launch at the show.
But before launch, many of our products have been through a Beta testing programme with specifically chosen customers to see how it performs in a live environment.
This process is invaluable to us and has often involved those customers who originally requested the feature to be developed.
Their feedback throughout the Beta period helps us to shape the final version which eventually makes it to the shelves. They get the feature they need and benefit from the increased efficiency, productivity and return on investment that it brings ahead of everyone else. We are grateful for the great suggestion and for helping us get it packaged for release.
No business can exist without customers. And there’s no doubt that Sign & Digital UK forms a huge part of our continual customer relationship management activities. We hope to enjoy it for many years to come.
