Appointment of BRPR as press agency for SDUK 2012
11 Aug 2011

Faversham House Group today announced the appointment of BRPR as official press agency for Sign & Digital UK 2012 for the second year running

The contract was awarded to BRPR following a successful pitch process that involved detailed analysis of publicity coverage and input from the 2011 show. The 2011 Sign and Digital UK exhibition saw a 22% increase in visitor numbers and was deemed a success Alan Caddick, marketing manager for Sign & Digital UK 2012 explains; “To convince business owners and signmakers to take a day off to visit an exhibition is not an easy one – and it’s getting harder and harder. In 2011 we appointed BRPR because of their strong ties to the wide format print community and in addition we created a well driven marketing campaign - it was important for us to inform and educate potential visitors that there really was something to be gained by visiting the show. ”

Berni Raeside comments, “We’re obviously delighted at BRPR being appointed for a second year running to handle the PR activity for the show. This year we aimed to increase the profile of the smaller signmaking suppliers and unusual products as well as working with the larger companies to get their messages across to the right channels.  We’ll continue to build on this for 2012 and also aim to spread the word more using social media such as Facebook and Twitter.”
