Maximise your show profile

It is important to start thinking about promoting your presence at Sign & Digital UK 2012.

One simple and easy way to do this is to complete and return back the forms in the exhibitor manual; New Product Launch & PR, Additional Promotional Opportunities and the Show Offers forms. This information is essential to help increase your presence at the show, if you have any product launches let us know so we can try to promote this in our show marketing campaigns.

This is a quick reminder of the free of charge marketing services that are on offer to you as an exhibitor at Sign & Digital UK 2012.

 

PR Support

Our PR agency works closely with all the industry media to secure show previews promoting Sign & Digital UK.  If you are holding any competitions, on-stand demonstrations or launching any new products then you need to let us know so we can try to include this information in our show promotion. You can do this by completing the New Product Launch and PR Form today.

Our PR representative, Bernie Raeside from BRPR, recommends the following:

“A lot of trade press have deadlines for information for show preview issues as early as February. You should by now be thinking about what you want to say about your company and the products you will be showcasing at Sign & Digital UK.

To make the most of the time available, why not try to think of two press releases in the run up to the show to start to build momentum and a bit of a "buzz" around your offerings. Think about competitions, product launches, workshops, seminars, demonstrations, new sales promotions tied in to the show and maybe even free refreshment on your stand perhaps? It all helps to create a story or a news piece that the reader will find interesting.

Don't worry if you haven't got a trade press list, you can send any of your show related press and news stories to us here. We can then send them out with our show updates to our list of media contacts and freelance journalists - but we need them now!

If you have any show related news from Sign & Digital UK 2011 then we'd love to hear from you also, so please do get in touch and we will be very happy to help.”

BRPR recommend the following to maximise your presence at the show:

  • Remember to upload your press releases onto the exhibitor section of the website in good time - Early February 2012 at the very latest.
  • Please think about what you upload as we will want to use this information to create show update news for the press.
  • What can we use? Short, concise information (up to 300 words preferably) with a picture. Try to just include the main reasons why people should visit your stand
  • What not to do? Please don’t upload specification sheets or "cut and paste" huge sections of technical documents. If you must upload a product spec, keep it to one or two sentences that highlight the product benefits/USPs

 

Free of Charge Marketing Opportunities

There are many ways to promote your presence at the show that are free of charge or can tie in with your existing marketing activities:

  • Show Logos

Use the show logo on any printed promotional materials that promote your presence at the show, be sure to include your stand number so visitors can easily find you onsite. For any printed material using the show logo, please have the piece approved before printing by emailing signanddigitaluk@fav-house.com.

  • Sign & Digital UK Website

As an exhibitor you are entitled to a free online profile on the Sign & Digital UK website. Visitors and press view the exhibitor list in the lead up to the show, so make sure you complete your online profile so visitors know who you are and the product areas you work in.

  • Email signatures

Add the show logo, show dates and your stand number to the end of your email signature, letting all your customers and contacts know you will be at the show.

  • Promote your attendance on your website

Add the show logo and a link to the main show website so visitors can keep up to date with all the show features and news which may encourage them to attend. Also, make it easy for your customers to register to attend the show by uploading a link on your website to the pre-registration web page.

  • Invite your customers to the show

Request additional visitor invitations to send to your customers, or we can send you a personalised PDF of the visitor E-ticket to send to your customers.

  • Promote your show offering to your customers
