Sign & Digital UK 2016 Show Highlights

The 2016 edition of Sign & Digital UK  welcomed nearly 170 exhibiting companies and more than 6,200 visitors. The show’s reputation as a buying event was cemented over the course of the show, with exhibitors reporting on the high quality of the visitors attending and the amount of business being transacted.

 

The show featured a comprehensive range of companies and products, from leading players such as Canon, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, Hybrid Services/Mimaki and Roland DG through to more specialist companies showcasing the latest available substrates, materials, inks and display solutions. The 2016 show included 52 companies who had not exhibited at Sign & Digital UK before while the remainder were companies who have exhibited previously.

Visitors came to see the latest innovations from across the sign making, display solutions and digital printing sectors, as well as to review new suppliers and get expert advice. They also took advantage of a range of free seminars and workshops. The Business Theatre featured some popular case study based sessions on “Exploring interior wall décor” and “Innovation in wayfinding and directional signage” as well as including practical talks on colour management and how to look after a wide format eco-solvent machine. Software training on the latest packages was available to visitors in the Adobe, Corel and SignLAB theatres, as well hands-on expert demonstrations in the Signmakers' Workshop.
In 2017 Sign & Digital UK will celebrate 30 years as a national exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham. With 42% of the floor plan sold onsite at the 2016 show, the 2017 event is all set to be an exciting and comprehensive celebration of the creativity and innovation of the sign making, display solutions and digital printing industries.
